Contemporary and neat room with 3 big suitcases, extremely helpful staff.

The hotel met expectations, it was a wonderful stay for first time visit. The staff was very attentive, some of them especially. Our property was in a favourable and magnificent location to the JR station.

Its breakfast should have been was n't included in the rate.

I had a fantastic stay at Dormy Inn! The value for money was excellent, with clean rooms and a wonderful onsen, complete with an outdoor pool. The location was perfect, right next to the bus station and within walking distance of the shopping streets. The staff were incredibly helpful and even brought our luggage up to our room. Special shoutout to Mr. Kim for his exceptional customer-oriented service!

The food for breakfast could have been better with more options.

We had the a double room which was well-maintained and contemporary with 3 big suitcases. The hotel was in a favourable location just off the various sights including the castle. There was an attached restaurant nearby.

Comfortable location so close to shopping mall, the Kumamoto castle, shopping arcade and tram station, and Hakata and Nagasaki. Also, close to Kumamotokotsu centre.

The pool area is great too. Exceptionally comfortable beds, a safe box, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a refrigerator in the room.

That was excellent modern and famous hotel set in good area, so close to tram and bus terminal and shopping center/dinning area & tram station and city centre. The room was neat and had an electric kettle and a fridge. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom here was spacious.

The guestrooms at Dormy Inn Kumamoto Natural Hot Spring are amazing! The beds are so comfy and the air conditioning keeps the room nice and cool. It feels like a cozy retreat from the outside world.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the en suite bathroom. It was a bit small for my liking.

Famous hotel, staff were very attentive and the location was favourable close to activity. Location: the property was next to new Sakuramachi, eateries, and Kumamoto Castle on the north.

We had a fantastic stay at the Dormy Inn in Kumamoto. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Kumamoto Castle and the transit center. The room, though compact, had everything we needed and was clean. We loved that they offered complimentary ramen noodles in the evening, a nice touch. The onsen baths were a highlight, providing a relaxing way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location and great amenities.

Centrally located in Kumamoto, this hotel offers a convenient base to explore the city. During my stay, I had the pleasure of enjoying the complimentary daily breakfast buffet. It was a delightful culinary adventure, reminiscent of exploring a bustling morning market with an abundance of fresh and delicious options.

Hard beds

Comfortable bed, quiet room, room small but well designed, good en-suite shower, lovely onsen, one of the baths open air, helpful pleasant staff, some of whom spoke a little English, good value breakfast with extensive range of self-service dishes, good toiletries, hairdryer, slippers, lounging pyjamas supplied. Very convenient location, short walks to castle & lively arcade with shops & restaurants, short tram ride to train station, bus centre opposite hotel had excellent information desk, we were able to get a through bus & ferry ticket to Shimabara from where we got a bus to Unzen. Would stay there again.

Good standard hotel, enjoyed our stay here. The location was incredible, not very far from Former Hosokawa Gyobutei. Western cuisine was served in the attached restaurant.
